A beautiful French antique fine cotton chemise in lovely condition with vintage milk glass buttons to front and handstitched buttonholes. Featuring a simple standup collar with fine lace trim, there are four buttons to the front, stopping midway down the front. Sleeves are generous with a dart for shape and a fixed cuff with fine lace trim. Handstitched and beautifully made, this is a lovely piece of history in a very wearable style in a generous size. The fabric is lovely and fine, with a small number of natural slubs which add to the character, see last image.
