A lovely handloomed hemp and linen antique chemise / dress in good condition, in a medium-heavy weight weave with a red handstitched monogram RV. A keyhole neckline and all handstitched, the sleevs are in white cotton. This style wears beautifully, it will soften with use and wear. The sides have pieced triangles, which highlights the inventiveness of the maker using all pieces of the precious handloomed fabric. The side triangles are a slightly lighter weave.
 
We have two similar, this is the darker colour. There are some minor discolourations, the price reflects these imperfections. See images.
