A beautiful table runner in a liquorice stripe made from antique grainsacking. Handloomed in hemp (weft) and cotton (warp) in a herringbone pattern, this is grainsacking which was woven and never made into a sack, so has been perfectly preserved. We have washed and edged this piece with a fringe that is then secured to stabilise. It measures 317 cm long (including fringe), and is 49.5 cm wide. Suitable for a 6-8 seat table with a hang, or a longer table to sit on top.
 
Hand or machine wash gentle and cold, soak in cold water immediately if any spills. Line dry and iron when still damp.
